What is on the White Belt Test?
Stances & Movement
Demonstrate full knowledge of the three stances: neutral, passive, and fighting. Show how to properly move in all directions while in these stances.
Straight & Low Punches
Demonstrate how to throw left/right combinations straight punches and low punches.
Palm Strikes
Demonstrate how to properly through palm strikes.
Hammer Fists
Demonstrate how to properly and effectively through hammer fist strikes in all directions.
Elbows
Demonstrate knowledge of all seven elbows in the VKM® system.
Long Knee
Demonstrate how to do a long knee.
Front Kick to Groin
Demonstrate how to properly and effectively through a front kick to the groin.
Defense Against Front Choke
Demonstrate how to defend against a choke from the front (two handed pluck).
Ready for your White Belt Test?
There are two ways you can earn your white belt. You can do your test through Zoom, getting interactive feedback from our instructors, or you can record yourself on video doing the techniques listed above, and submit the link to the uploaded video to us.
Video Submissions
Achieve your VKM White Belt with ease! Showcase your skills by recording a video of yourself demonstrating the white belt techniques: Stances & movement, straight & low punches, palm strikes, hammer fists, elbows, long knee, front kick to groin, & defense against front choke.
Simply upload the video and send us the link.


Online Zoom Testing
The last Monday of every month there will be a standing Zoom Testing at 5pm PST for white belt tests. The following dates for this year are: Feb 27, Mar 27, Apr 24, May 29, Jun 26, Jul 31, Aug 28, Sep 25, Oct 30, Nov 27, Dec 18*.
If none of these dates work for you, we can also set up a Zoom test on a different day/time. Email us at [email protected] to set that up.
